Floresta Viva

Floresta Viva, set up by local activist, Biologist and instigator, Dr. Rui Barbisa da Rocha, is an organization instrumental in addressing the sustainability, socio-economic, preservation and conservation programs in Itacaré and the local region. Aopart from being one of the main presenters at the Breathe/Respira Brazil event, Dr. Rocher is a professor at the Institute for Social and Environmental Studies in Southern Bahia (IESB) and has been a driving force creating greater awareness about the impact of the Porto Não Sul project.
